New sponsor for Gillman Speedway announced - September 2014

Adelaide’s Gillman Speedway has today announced a new major corporate sponsor for the 2014/15 season.

“I am very pleased to announce that the very well-known auto dismantler and recycler, U-PULL-IT, has agreed to join our growing list of sponsors for the forthcoming season” said Speedway Manager Dave Parker.

“Each of the sponsors we’ve had over the years has enabled us to continually upgrade the stadium, and that, in turn has attracted new sponsors such as U-PULL-IT.

“U-PULL-IT is already deeply involved as a sponsor in many other types of motorsport, from Saloon Car racing through to Go Karts, Dirt Rallying, and Drag Racing, to name just a few, but this will be the company’s first involvement with motorcycle speedway racing.”

U-PULL-IT Managing Director Mark Kraulis was totally surprised when he visited the Gillman Stadium recently and said, “I have passed the Gillman Stadium almost daily on the way to our Gillman branch just down the road but when I drove through the entrance and into the bituminised pit area my first comments were, wow! For a club like Gillman to have a stadium like this, presented in the way it is, is a credit to all involved. I can’t wait to see a meeting there and U-PULL-IT is proud to have the opportunity to be involved with the complex.”

U-PULL-IT is also actively involved in the local community at many levels, from sponsoring junior sporting teams through to donating money from car sales to charities (like the Kidney Foundation) and has a high level of corporate social responsibility that is just as paramount as their environmental responsibility.

“U-PULL-IT’s environmental and social responsibilities are taken on board with professionalism and genuine concern,” said Mr. Kraulis. “We are proud to be the most environmentally responsible auto-recycler in South Australia and also the most active in terms of community involvement.

U-PULL-IT is South Australia’s largest self-serve auto dismantler and recycler, with a massive range of 2587 cars and over 1,296,087 parts spread over three locations, at Lonsdale in the south, Elizabeth (north) and Gillman (central).
