New date for Gillman Speedway track championships

The Gillman Speedway track championships, scheduled as the opening summer meeting on 12 November but rained off, have been rescheduled for Saturday night, 3 December.

That date was already allocated to the Sidewinders Junior Speedway Club for the State Under 16 125cc Solo Championship, but the Sidewinders will now run in the afternoon with Gillman in the evening.

With some riders already committed to meetings interstate on 3 December, all riders will have to nominate for the new date, no nominations will be automatically carried over from the rained off meeting.

In addition to the 500cc Solo, 1000cc Sidecar, and Under 16 250cc Solo Championships, the Under 125cc Solos will also now be competing for the track championship.
