Former National Champion Trent Headland confirmed for Ikon Suspension International Speedway Masters
Former Australian Champion, Trent Headland, is the latest big name addition to the field contesting the Ikon Suspension International Speedway Masters at Gillman Speedway.
Headland, and his passenger Jaxon Rayner, will be one of the teams to beat in the Darrin Treloar Cup, being staged on night one (December 27), of the two-night ISM24.
Trent Headland has been one of the fastest riders in the world for many years and his inclusion in the field for the Gillman Speedway blockbuster is welcome news for race fans.
“I can’t wait to contest the ISM24 meeting at Gillman,” Trent enthused.
“Just like everyone that races in speedway sidecars, I’ve got immense respect for Darrin Treloar and it’s tremendous to see him being honoured at this meeting.
“Gillman Speedway is a venue that I’ve had a fair bit of success at and I’m confident we’ll be one of the fastest teams on December 27.
“It’s going to come down to putting the whole package together. This season I have young Jaxon Rayner swinging for me, and I believe he’s going to be an excellent fit for our team until my son, Nate, is ready to resume racing again following his injuries”.
